Understanding NFC Technology

NFC, or Near Field Communication, allows electronic devices to wirelessly exchange data at a very short range (typically a few centimeters).

It’s often used for contactless payments, sharing information, and triggering actions with compatible devices.

Here’s how it works:

  • NFC Tags: These are small chips that store data like website URLs, contact information, or unique identifiers. They don’t have batteries and get powered by the NFC reader when close.
  • NFC Readers: These are built into smartphones, tablets, or dedicated devices. They can read data from NFC tags and perform actions based on the information.
